Do you want to know the truth about creation and evolution? Before we delve into this topic, we need to understand the meaning of these two words.
Now, What is Evolution?
The Cambridge dictionary tells us that Evolution is the process by which the physical characteristics of types of creatures change over time, new types of creatures develop, and others disappear. Oh, how this just types the spiritual life of a Christian. How we thank the Lord that one of these days our mortal bodies will be changed to an incorruptible one. Remember though, we're already changed. The spiritual aspects of us, at least, and we are being changed daily. Oh! how I so love this. We've become a new man in Christ and the old man is dead and has disappeared. Now, that's real evolution. The prophet of the Lord in this last church age said "Man evolutes from himself." That means being changed from one person to another. The only way that can happen is by Jesus Christ. So yes, all real believers believe in the right kind of evolution. I don't want to get ahead of myself though. Let's take one thing at a time.
We see now that "evolution" is a gradual process of change and development. Now here's the question one could ask: "Well, for there to be an evolution, there has to be "something" going through that process of change, right?" And the answer would be "Yes." Now first, for there to be a "change", we have to have something/someone causing a change, or "Law" that says something has got to change. It cannot come out of nowhere. Second, there has to be something/someone being changed, the one receiving the change.
Now, I don't know much about science, but from what I know and have been taught at school is that there's many mechanisms of evolution, like natural selection, mutation and so on..... Science claims that one of the evidences that support evolution is fossil record. I don't know or remember a lot of these scientific terms, but I had to do some research to have some idea of what they mean.
Now, from what I understood about Evolution is that it started with the origin of life through abiogenesis, leading to the emergence of the first simple organisms. Evolutionary processes began with the origin of life on Earth, a process known as abiogenesis. Abiogenesis refers to the natural process by which life arises from non-living matter. This likely involved the formation of simple organic molecules, which eventually led to the development of self-replicating molecules and primitive cells. That's what science says. But how can life come from non-living matter? And has it ever happened again? Well, I'll just say it like a prophet said it, "My faith is not that strong, sir." (A paradox 62-0128)
Frank Turek, which I think many of you might have heard of him, maybe from YouTube, wrote a book titled "I don't have enough Faith to be an Atheist." I just like that. I think to be an atheist it really takes some faith. Us, Christians, just operate on simple faith. We might not understand it and be able to put it all together but we believe it anyhow.
One of the problems about Darwin's concept of evolution is that it doesn't explain the origin of the first life. Who was the first man and woman, Either an ape or chimpanzee or whatever they call it, how did the first male and female come to be? Science tells us that reproduction cannot happen without a male and female coming together. See, science is just in a great confusion. We can also talk about cause and effect. The "big bang" must've had a cause. Life cannot just come out of nothing. Life comes from life. We can look at it in nature, everything around us and we see that life comes from life only. This is just some concepts from the evolutionists side. I'm just bringing your attention to them, so you can realize how they're contradicting themselves.
What is Creation?
Creation is the act of creating, especially of bringing the world into ordered existence. It is the making of the world by God. One can look around at nature and see how beautiful it is, how magnificent it is, it can only come from an intelligent mind, a creator, The creator God. He created the heavens and earth and everything in it. Read Genesis 1: 1. It says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." If you continue reading on we can see that He created everything else too by the spoken word. Nature testifies that there is a God. And you testify of it as well. God is in nature and God is in his people. He's all around you. Just ask Him to open your spiritual eyes to the spirit world, so you can look and see beyond the physical.
I can go to someone's home and have dinner with them, and they might serve some real nice delicious food. Now, I'm going to eat it and enjoy it. After dinner, I might ask "who was the cook?" That is very good question to ask. There can never be a wonderfully prepared food without a cook. The food tells us that there was a cook who made it. It's the same way as there can never be a house without a builder. You know sometimes people have faith and they don't even know it. For example, when you go to a store to buy a specific item, you weren't exactly there when they prepared it or packaged it. You do know though and believe that there was someone behind it. In fact, you don't even think about it, you never even ask "Hey, where's the guy who prepared this?" You just know and believe that the thing is what it is because there was someone who made it. So we see that creation tells us there is a creator, and I believe the only creator is God alone.
Let's read Hebrews 11: 3 - "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." We can see here that It is by faith that we understand that the world was framed by the invisible God. The whole kingdom of God is built upon faith. Faith is the foundation. God Himself created the earth and everything in it by faith. He believed the authority of His own Word. God is God. He knows who He is. One of the thing that unbelievers have in common with believers is faith. A lot of the things that science claims is sometimes man's ideas and philosophies. It's all mostly just theories, not something real. We say that science just operates on what they can prove, but there are a lot of things science can't prove and they come up with some other idea to just cover their ignorance. Science always updates its statements. It's never 100% concrete. I think it takes such a faith to believe some of those science claims.
Takeaway?
Absolute certainty in science is very rare. We're living in a time of uncertainty where there's many voices around us. Who/what are we going to believe? It's a choice you going to have to make for yourself. Don't just believe in something because everybody else does, society teaches it, or just because it makes you comfortable or makes sense. Be creatures who seek the Truth and the Truth only, not mans ideas. There's a voice from heaven, that still small voice that's always speaking to every individual. I hope you listen to Him (God), friends.
In Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever (52-08103), Brother Branham, a man of God said "There wasn't a man on earth till six thousand years ago. That's right. That's according to the bible. And all that, that cave stuff, that's just something got up in somebody's head, somewhere. There's not a bit of scripture to it. There's not a...not right at all. And man never come from no serpent, or monkey, or nothing. He come from God. That's right." We can understand now that all that evolution idea is not according to the bible, it's just ideas people create in their heads when they can't figure it no more and they just don't want to believe God.
This creation that we see couldn't just come from nowhere, from non living things. There has to be a creator for this beautiful design. Remember, you're not a creature of "chance." You are wonderfully made by the Lord God as the bible teaches it. You are not a mistake. We cannot just believe that life comes from "nothing." It doesn't make any sense, because then "nothing" is already a "something." Let's run with the scientific idea for now. So you were just born, the bed just supposed to set there, and the chair just supposed to set there? This watch that you could be wearing right now just absolutely happened to be a watch and that's all there is to it? NO SIR, NOT AT ALL. But that's what evolutionists believe. If you ask them these questions though, the answer obviously would be a "no." They would say there had to be a mastermind behind it to put it together. So I ask you this: How much more greater are you than that watch, that bed, and that chair? See ? There's got to be someone behind it!
Here is something to think about: the only way you can truly know something is by experience. We could go into that, but maybe next time. I've got to conclude this. One thing to remember is this, if we all just came to be by chance, then there's no purpose to us living this life, because there's no goal at all, no great achievement. You say "well, there is, I'm going to leave a legacy behind." Yeah, sure. One that's going to fade. I want to invest in something that's going to live for eternity. Perhaps it's about time to invest in your own life. This life on earth isn't everything, friends. There's another world, another life coming!
Again, you can truly know something only by experience. If evolution is real and true, you've got to experience it for yourself exactly. If Creation by God, which is the truth of how things came to be, you've got to experience it as well. If life comes from non-living matter, then we've got to see it happen again. Can scientists do it? There's so many things that science can't prove, they just take it by some kind of faith. BUT oh, I'm so glad JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He's the same God as He was in the beginning and still proves His Word. You unbelievers, believe in Him right now and let Him come into your heart and change you from the inside out. That's real evolution, when you die out to yourself and become a new creation in Christ Jesus. Let God prove to you that He's still the same creator. Science cannot save you, only Jesus Christ can. We live in an age where people just believe what they want to believe. Even if you present them absolute truths from the bible, they wouldn't believe them. A miracle even wouldn't do much, perhaps only for the elected of God. This is because people are so blinded by the devil and they can't even see when God is manifesting Himself.
Tell me, what is easier to believe, you can even ask this to a little kid who hasn't been filled with a lot of ideas yet. "Do you think we came to be on this earth just by chance or was there a great powerful being who created us and all things?" I think most likely you'll hear the second option. Why though? People just miss the simplicity of the word of God sometimes. We're just so filled with a lot of ideas and education till the things of God just go over the top of our heads. Even I don't understand it all but I take it by faith and God is revealing Himself more day by day. I've witnessed the authority of His Word and I know it is that same God who spoke "Let there be."
Oh friends, the things of God aren't so complicated. If you want to see God manifest and reveal Himself to you, just surrender yourself and open your heart to Him. I'm sure He's knocking at everyone's heart, please invite Him in and welcome Him in your home. He's going to give you a new heart and fill you with His Holy Spirit. I don't know much friends but I just wanted to share this that I know with you. I hope you'll get to see that it's creation how we came to be. Creation by the creator God.
